Does anyone know how to remove the sliding windows on a 55-57 Safari? I have all the trim off, but can't seem to figure out whether I need to bend the retaining tabs and remove the felt channel or if there is another way. Thanks.

Is anyone aware of a company that reproduces the 55 Safari gas tank. I've tried Quanta and several companies that advertise in Hemmings. The nomad tank is available but it does not fit the Safari.

Also does anyone have a source for the bottom of the seat surrounds. This is the waffle style. Can they be repaired?

I have a 55 Safari with Factory A/C. I have been told that only 15 of these cars were built with factory Air. Can anyone confirm this as fact or fiction.
